Subject: Problems with NCR 53c8XX and GENERIC* (fixed)
Sender: owner-current-users@netbsd.org
A couple of people reported to me that they had trouble booting the
GENERIC{AHA,BT} kernels on machines with NCR 53c8XX PCI SCSI chips.
It turns out this was due to a bug in the high-level autoconfiguration
code (inherited from 4.4-Lite) that I just fixed.
If you had trouble with this, please try again after your next update,
and let me know if you still have problems.
